Set up a tiered file holder for "hot" files (those you refer to daily). Include "to do," "to read," "to sign," "to file," "to discuss," "waiting to hear," recurring meetings, and current projects. |

Set up reference files for the current year and archive materials you must keep from past years. |

Tear out and file needed articles from periodicals. Cancel as many subscriptions as possible. |
